What were you doing before joining IQ? 

I was the manager of a cinema while finishing my studies at University.  

What qualifications do you have? 

Bachelor of Business majoring in Economics and Finance.  

Have you used your qualifications/experience during you time at IQ? 

I was able to leverage my problem-solving skills when working with my first client, and I continuously had to adapt to change, think on my feet to support our client in a fast moving and complex environment.  My ability to be a strong communicator has been advantageous and was necessary to support the team to work in a collaborative and efficient manner.  

Why did you apply for the Graduate Program at IQ? 

Having the ability to work in different roles across many different projects was the most enticing factor when applying for the IQ Graduate Program. It was also clear that the mentoring I was to receive, combined with my previous work experience, would provide me with the integral skills and learning opportunities required for my growth as a consultant.  

What work did you do as a graduate? 

After completing the initial graduate training program, I was placed on a client site as a junior business analyst and assisted my team in producing, and presenting the system to the client, working with multiple stakeholders across different aspects of the business.  

What has been the highlight of your career with IQ so far? 

The highlight of my career so far has been receiving great mentorship from experienced leaders within the superannuation space. The support I have received from all the staff at IQ Group has been fantastic, and it is clear that they have our best interest at heart. Something noticeable about IQ Group is its collaborative culture, everyone is happy to help you and answer any questions.

What were you doing before joining IQ? 

I was working as a Regional Coordinator for a Software Company.  

What qualifications do you have? 

Bachelor of Commerce Majoring in Management.  

Have you used your qualifications/experience during you time at IQ? 

I’ve found that my analytical and collaborative skills gained through my previous employment to be particularly helpful during the program when working with different stakeholders. My experience in problem solving and prioritisation has been useful when confidently working with clients, helping me balance my responsibilities and think of innovative solutions.  

Why did you apply for the graduate program at IQ? 

During my studies I was drawn to consulting as I enjoyed the idea of challenging myself through working with a range of companies on differing projects. IQ Group offered a perfect opportunity for me to enter the consulting field, through a structured Graduate Program with personalised mentoring, in an industry I was unfamiliar with.  

What work did you do as a graduate? 

After completing the intensive graduate training program within IQ Group, I had the opportunity to work at a start-up super fund where I worked with the insurance team assisting with incident remediation. I have also been involved in internal projects, working with industry professionals in new and emerging areas of work.   

What has been the highlight of your career with IQ so far? 

The highlight of my career with IQ Group has definitely been working with such a supportive and intelligent group of people who have a deep understanding of the Superannuation industry. IQ Group has provided me with vast knowledge, skills, and experience through the program.

What were you doing before joining IQ?

I was continuing with my studies and also working as a Medical Receptionist during the height of another COVID19 wave.

What qualifications do you have?

Bachelor of Information Technology, majoring in Project Management.

Have you used your qualifications/experience during your time in IQ?

I’ve found my Project Management skills, in particular, have been helpful in collaborating with people. They’ve also been useful to set deadlines for myself and adhere to them.

Why did you apply for the graduate program in IQ?

My IT background lends itself to coding and development work, but I was interested to explore different roles without formally committing to a position. IQ Group offered me learning in different spaces, and in superannuation which I was unfamiliar with. It was a big jump into the deep end for me, but I’m so glad I made the leap.

What work did you do as a graduate?

I worked in the Change Management space in my first client engagement, which was foreign to me but I thoroughly enjoyed the work. I completed training in superannuation, insurance and business analysis, that are pertinent to the positions I’ve held and the clients I’ve worked for.

What has been the highlight of your career with IQ so far?

The people I have been mentored by have been so supportive. Getting the opportunity to work amongst great people has really allowed me a safe environment to ask questions and explore the world of superannuation and finance.

What were you doing before joining IQ?

I was completing my bachelor’s degree while working in retail.

What qualifications do you have?

Bachelor of Business Majoring in Economics and Marketing.

Have you used your qualifications/experience during your time in IQ?

I have utilised by analytical skills and willingness to learn to grow my knowledge of a collection of different industries and roles within projects. I have also used my practical problem solving skills to assist my team in addressing and moving forward through difficult problems.

Why did you apply for the graduate program in IQ?

I was drawn towards consulting as I like the idea of working for a variety of different companies and developing my skills in different areas and industries. IQ have provided me the opportunity to learn and develop my skills across a collection of unique projects.

What work did you do as a graduate?

My first project included a wide variety of roles. I was originally brought on to assist in the data remediation process. However, as my knowledge of the project developed, my work included business analysis, project co-ordination and data rule testing.

What has been the highlight of your career with IQ so far?

The highlight of my career at IQ has been working with my current team. It is great to see everyone’s different strengths and approaches to tasks, and working together in order to achieve goals and meet targets.
